Ey! Ah'ya doon? The people behind the counter really need to work on their attitude! They are far too nice for this to be anything to do with New Jersey... For an authentic North Atlantic sub-shop experience: imagine the entire staff ( and the long line behind you) is ready to cuss you out if you don't just pick a number and get it "Mike's way." This is Pittsburgh, so that won't happen, but imagine it--and act accordingly.
Ingredients are very fresh, small eating area, and a good place to obtain take out.
I have only been to this location a couple times, but the food here is pretty good. I have been to Jersey Mikes, in Ohio, New Jersey, New York and other places on the east coast I don't really get why people are saying this store, is not as good as the other ones. Jersey Mikes, is a good place to eat and has good employees and a nice dining area at all the locations that I have been too. The employees at the Cranberry one, are pretty nice too I never had a problem with any of them!
Best subs to be had. Always delicious, always fresh, always great rhythmatic service, as the employees work as a team. This shop is CLEAN, and the emoloyees are very engaging, seems they can speak to customers on many different topics, while still performing, they're jobs. I hope they all get a raise and/ or promotions. These are fine young men & woman that work here.
Not a cheap lunch, per say, but fast even when line is fairly long (thanks to limited sub options and the muscle memory of Mike's way). I love that they slice the deli meats right in front of you; the way it should be done. The bread is simple but a perfect vehicle for a hoagie. As a former Rochestarian, I love me some DiBella's, but sometimes the crust is too hard for a sub. Not Jersey Mikes'. It's chewy but yeilds to the incisors so as not to smoosh out the meat with every bite.
We've been going to this location for a while and they always do a great job. The staff is very friendly and nice. Had recently placed a catering order and it was great.
