The staff here is very friendly and accommodating. They have a lot of options and the food is good (if not great). My kids love the free ice cream. Something for everyone.

I moved down to Florida over a year ago, & discovered Jason's Deli from my cousin, & it's amazing. I can't say that about this Pittsburgh location tho. Can't complain about it being relatively dead, but that just shows it's not a great place. When I first had it in Florida the staff were absolutely friendly & treated me like family. I wish I could say the same about this location. The food from this location was cold, & the soup was so clumpy I tried to get a refund which the manager declined and insisted I get a new bowl made from a new "fresh" batch. The new batch of soup was more bland then the first one but not clumpy which didn't matter at that point. The staff are the farthest thing from friendly. They seem like they don't want to be there, & they rush you when you are ordering. I wouldn't go here again for that reason.
Friends who live in the area brought us to Jason's for dinner. We were very pleased with the pricing, the fresh food, and the friendly staff. The salad bar has a great variety, and one of us got a Reuben sandwich with pastrami that was the best he'd had in a long time. And of course, the free soft-serve was appreciated! So sorry that they don't have any restaurants yet on the eastern side of PA where we live!
I love all the delicious soup and sandwich options at Jason's Deli offers!! The salad bar is really good too with lots of fresh veggie options!!
