Now, I just received another phone call from their "headquarters" in Texas DEMANDING that I remove the review or else they will sell my phone number to scammers. I don't know what they're hoping to achieve but I'm certainly not going to comply with a company that is making threats towards me. Now have it be known that not only will they overcharge you for your nails and argue over a refund, but they will call and harass you as well, and you'll have to change your phone number like I did.
I chose this place based on the excellent reviews on both Yelp and Google, but I didn't seem to get even close to comparable quality of the images on both of these sites. Also, on Google, many of the reviews seem to be from people who are posting many reviews very frequently all over the Unites States, which comes across as rather fishy for me. I drove quite far to get to this place and going back to have a do-over is not an option, especially with my timeline currently.

The folks there were pretty nice, but I don't feel like I got the experience and quality that I paid for. I looked into VRS Nails & Spa pretty extensively before deciding on it, because I was getting my nails done for my wedding. I saw that they had a good amount of french tips in their photo collection and felt confident they could do what I was asking for. While I was getting my nails done, I didn't feel very confident in the job as it was in progress, but convinced myself to relax and let the technician do his job. By the end, I think I was desensitized, so I thought I'll take what I can get, but that's not the right way to go about these things. The skin around my nails is very damaged, and the nails themselves are of an inconsistent shape. There's bubbles in the pink acrylic, and also in the gel polish. The lines of the white were not crisp and then I had them put a rose gold thin line in between the white and natural colors, which was also sloppy and uneven.
1st time here. Place is very, very clean. Staff was very nice. Nina gave me a pedicure and gel manicure. Going to take my granddaughters here.
The luxury mani I got here is perfect. The tech did a superb job on my nails.
UPDATE:
The owner did give me a refund after a 30 minute phone call where I had to fight for it, him telling me that it wasn't possible. We never agreed that I take down this review in return for an exchange for a refund, but that's an unethical thing to ask in the first place. The manager called me back after the refund asking to take down the review. I thought about it for a while and decided not to, because my one negative review doesn't have much of an affect in the sea of fake reviews for this place.
I’ve always gone to the same nail salon and after a few horrible experiences I looked around and found VRS and I hoped they could make a good first impression. After today I have to say it’s probably the best nail experience I’ve had. Vivian, was wonderful and the way she actually cared how my nails looked and that meant the world to me. She took her time. I didn’t feel rushed. I’ll definitely be back here. :)
I think that they were busier than they could handle, which very possibly contributed to the lack of quality and care. I hope that others have more luck.
Had a great experience at VRS Nails. The pedicure was relaxing and quite thorough done by Ruby. Attention to detail was the experience for my fills with gel polish, however the policy sh on the tips seemed to fade after two days. They are a little bit pricey, but they do guarantee their work for a week.
